Restaurant Ayla choseInfratech ‘s Contemporary Series (C and CD Series) to complement their contemporary culinary vision inspired by the Eastern Mediterranean. Indeed, Infratech patio heaters integrate perfectly with covered terraces such as that of the Ayla restaurant.
CD Series units are available up to 6,000W in 208V and 240V. In addition to the stainless steel model, the units are available in eight colors.
For this project, the patio heaters are surface-mounted on either side of the terrace to provide cross-angle radiation and excellent coverage for the best possible comfort.
The benefits of electric infrared heaters
Electric radiant patio heaters, also known as electric infrared patio heaters, have several advantages for restaurateurs over propane or gas heating. Here are some of the advantages of electric over propane heating:
Efficiency: Electric infrared patio heaters offer a radiant efficiency of between 70% and 96%, compared with less than 50% for propane and gas.
Overhead installation: Thanks to their overhead installation, electric patio heaters don’t use up valuable floor space for additional tables.
Safety : Propane patio heaters present a number of hazards. Never move them while in use, use them only in ventilated areas to avoid the risk of intoxication, do not use them too close to a wall, etc.
Greenhouse gas-free: In addition to having an efficiency of less than 50%, propane burners emit carbon monoxide and other hazardous gases as a by-product of combustion and fuel.
