Residential garage and commercial heating
Electric radiant heating, also known as electric infrared heating, is ideal for residential garages. Infrared heating is ideal for draughty spaces such as garage doors, since infrared directly heats people, objects and the floor, rather than the air that is lost in draughts.
For this heating project, we had the good fortune to work with electrician Montreal Sparky, and the pleasure of producing the following installation and presentation video.

Customer needs
For this project, the aim was to provide a heating solution that could maintain a low temperature throughout the night and day, and be immediately comfortable for spontaneous needs.
The solution
The best solution for this type of need is infrared lamp heaters, which provide an immediate sensation of warmth when the heater is turned on. We opted for Fostoria’s MTM model.
To ensure complete coverage, we used two devices. The units are installed at an angle on a wall.
For control, we have a control panel with a thermostat to adjust the temperature appropriately.
