Huma Spa is a health experience with a human touch. Located in the heart of Gatineau, it offers a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city for a moment of relaxation and well-being.
Context
Situated on the roof of the building, the Spa’s relaxation area benefits from draughts during the summer months. However, when temperatures drop, conditions can become uncomfortable for customers, especially under the pergola, where the cold can deter visitors from fully enjoying the experience.
Faced with this problem, the addition of a radiant heating system proved to be the ideal solution for maintaining a warm, pleasant atmosphere, while preserving customer comfort.
Solution
To meet the Spa’s needs, two units from Fostoria ‘s OCH series proved ideal for increasing pergola comfort and keeping customers warm.
- Electric radiant heaters:
The OCH series uses a quartz tube with a ferrochromium alloy, guaranteeing gentle, pleasant heat without emitting visible light. This feature preserves the soothing, hushed ambience of the spa, essential to the customer experience. The units have been carefully positioned to ensure uniform, effective coverage of the pergola, maximizing thermal comfort for customers.
