Two heated terraces at St-Hubert in Sainte-Thérèse
There’s not just one heated terrace at St-Hubert de Sainte-Thérèse, but two. The terrace in front of the restaurant is heated with surface-mounted units installed on poles, while the terrace to the side of the rotisserie is heated with built-in infrared units.

This restaurant demonstrates the extent to which infrared devices can be used on restaurant terraces. Before we take a closer look at the two terraces, here are a few words about electric infrared heating.
Electric infrared heaters
What is electric infrared heating?
Among the various heating options, electric infrared heaters can be used to efficiently heat outdoor spaces such as terraces, since infrared does not heat the air, but rather heats people directly.
Why electric infrared heating for restaurants?
For both residential and restaurant terraces, adding patio heaters to a terrace increases comfort on cooler evenings and extends the time spent enjoying the terrace. However, for restaurants, it’s also a way of creating more space available to serve customers, and thus an opportunity to increase sales.
Heated terrace with above-ground appliances
The first terrace doesn’t include a roof to cover it, and very little wall space is available. Installing the patio heaters on posts on the outside of the terrace proved to be the perfect way to heat the terrace completely and provide excellent coverage. In addition to offering highly efficient and comfortable heating,Infratech ‘s Model W is much more subtle than other heating options on the market.

For the second terrace, the roof allowed a flush-mount installation usingInfratech‘s flush-mount frame. The W series is also preferable for flush-mounted installations.
