Why electric radiant heating?
Technirep specializes exclusively in electric radiant heating, since it is the most efficient heating solution for the uses and applications listed earlier in this article.
This type of heating is more efficient than the alternatives and is particularly well suited to the following applications:
Total area heating (Total area heating)
Whether it’s a garage, warehouse, commercial building or factory, infrared heating can efficiently heat the entire space in question. Infrared heating first heats people, objects and the floor, then distributes the heat evenly throughout the space. This method of heating keeps the ambient air temperature lower than with forced-air heating, while maintaining the same level of comfort.
Indoor spot heating
Infrared heating is the only type of heating that can comfortably heat a section of a large building, commonly referred to as zone heating. It creates significant energy savings, since it is not necessary to heat the whole building when only one workstation is in use. This is an important advantage of infrared heating, since it would be impossible to heat a single area of a large space with convection heating, given the impossibility of containing the hot air.
Outdoor spot heating
Similarly, infrared heating can be used to heat outdoor spaces such as terraces. Infrared radiation heats terrace users directly, rather than the air as with a forced-air system. This is absolutely impossible with other heating methods.
De-icing and snow melting
In the same way as outdoor spot heating, infrared heating, with sufficient power, can be used for de-icing and snow melting(link to our heated asphalt article).
Optimum heating solution
To provide a complete solution for every project, offering the best in comfort and efficiency. Technirep takes charge of every stage in the design of the heating solution.
Design and outreach plan
In order to offer the best solution for each project, we start the design of the heating solution by gathering information from each customer to establish their needs and expectations.
We then prepare a solution tailored to each project, including a 3D radiation plan to facilitate understanding of the proposed solution.

Control and modulation option
In addition to preparing radiation plans to deliver the best results, Technirep also specializes in control design for the control and modulation of radiant heating systems.
Depending on requirements, we can include the following control and modulation options: Thermostat, potentiometer, Wi-Fi dimmer, control with home automation system, control with building management system, presence detector, snow detector, zone control and many other options.
After-sales service
Our service and solutions don’t stop there. Technirep makes sure to offer the best after-sales service for every project.
Your partner
Technirep is your partner of choice for every radiant heating project.
We work with electrical distributors, electricians, engineers, builders and architects to design the best heating solution for each project, and integrate it with simplicity and elegance.
