Sustainability at Technirep

At Technirep, we enable businesses to improve their energy efficiency by offering high-performance electric infrared heating solutions. In fact, our systems not only allow companies to switch from fossil fuel heating to a renewable energy system (hydroelectricity), but our systems are also 2 to 4 times more efficient than those using gas or propane.

In addition, an electric infrared heating system is generally more efficient and less energy consuming than other types of electric heating systems such as forced air systems.

At Technirep we never settle for less. While our company can have a positive impact on our environment in many ways, we were looking to do more on this issue that affects us all. From this deep motivation to do more comes “Our Commitment”.

    Our commitment

Sustainability and respect for the environment are at the heart of our priorities at Technirep.

That’s why our team works hard every day to offer innovative, high-performance, energy-efficient and renewable energy heating solutions.

    What if we went further?

Through our partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, we aspire to become a carbon neutral company, one tree at a time. That’s why 5 trees will be planted for every kilowatt of infrared heating we sell. Here is a concrete example with two of our flagship products:

    • Infratech Slimline – 4 000 W: 20 trees will be planted
    • Fostoria MTM 342 – 5 000 W : 25 trees will be planted

    What is Eden?

Eden Reforestation Projects works with local communities to restore forests on a large scale, creating jobs, protecting ecosystems and helping to mitigate climate change.

The nonprofit organization not only plants trees, but also creates livelihoods for thousands of people living in precarious environments by empowering them to restore and protect forests.

By 2021, the Organization has planted more than 358M trees, employing nearly 12,000 workers in local communities and offering them fair wages.
